Porcelain bowls with wax for candles

Use porcelain bowls to create atmospheric scented candles that spread warmth and festive cheer this Christmas. Transform simple bowls into decorative accents for Advent, the holiday table, and cozy evenings.

1) Prepare the porcelain bowl

Clean the porcelain bowl thoroughly so that it is free of dust and grease before using the porcelain paint pens.

2) Decorate the bowl with stamps

Choose a silicone stamp and place it on the stamp holder. Now dab it with Staz-On ink pads. Press the stamp onto the porcelain bowl. Repeat this process until your bowl is beautifully decorated. Let the ink dry completely. Color in the designs on the bowl with porcelain markers.Let the paint dry for at least 15 minutes before placing the bowl in the oven at 160 °C for 25 minutes. Then let the bowl cool in the oven.

3) Melt the wax

Melt about 200 g of wax in the universal pot. Add a few drops of food coloring or scented oils as desired and mix well. Dip the wick bases into the melted wax and place them upright in the bowl. Now carefully pour the liquid wax into the porcelain bowl.

Tip: To keep the wicks from tipping over, you can place bamboo skewers across the bowl and wedge the wicks between them.

4) Decorate the Candle

Once the wax begins to set, you can press orange slices and cinnamon sticks into the wax for decoration. Be careful not to place the decorations too close to the wicks. Once the wax has completely hardened, you can trim the wicks with scissors.
