Instructions No. 2915
Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 3 Hours
Protect your workplace, for example, with a VBS handicraft mat. Take some soft clay from the packaging and knead it well. Roll it out to a thickness of approx. 3 mm using the acrylic roller. You will need a circle and a heart for an angel. Detach a circle from the handicraft mat. using the polishing sheet and place a bamboo skewer in the middle of it. Now fold the clay at one end (of the skewer), slightly overlapping the skewer. This will give you your angel shape. The skewer serves as a placeholder and can be removed after drying. Remove the angel from the base, place it in the middle of a heart and press it down lightly. This gives your angel its wings.
Use the wooden pottery knife and a little water to smooth the edges. Leave your angels to dry for at least 24 hours. Then carefully detach them from the handicraft mat and remove the bamboo skewer.
Coat the wings and the edges from of the dress with the napkin varnish mica.
Now cut off a piece of the micro-macramé-cord . Tie a knot at one end and thread several glass wax beads onto it, depending on the size of the angel (in our example, we used between 3-5 beads). Pull the ribbon through the angel and thread another glass wax bead onto the ribbon, then the wooden ball for the head and another glass wax bead. Knot the end of the cord together to form a loop so that you can hang your angel.
