Download the free motif template and print it out. Transfer the silhouette of the mermaid twice to white and Craft cardboard sheetcut out everything. Glue the inside of the lantern with coloureStraw silk paperd or coloured Décopatch papers. Especially suitable for this Handicraft gluewhich you can apply with a brush to the surfaces to be glued. Paint the closed eyes with a black Markerone. For the cheeks cut two ovals from the salmon or pink Straw silk paper and stick them on your face with something Handicraft glue . As a hair clip you glue on jewellery stones
Now print out the intermediate part, transfer the template to (approx. Craft cardboard sheet 50 cm long) and cut it out. Bend the prongs inwards and fix the intermediate piece with Handicraft glue on the mermaid. Now fix some winding wire at the ends of the intermediate part as lantern bracket. For this, simply punch a hole on each side with a hole punch. Now place a light source in the lantern. Both an LED tea light and an LED light chain are suitable for this. Finally only a Lantern rod from the winding wire and your spectacular mermaid lantern is ready.
