These great owls-Lanterns are made of sturdy Lamp foil, glued Straw silk paper and elements of Coloured paper, these great owls. Through small variations each one has its own expression, but the most beautiful look of all four together.
Here'show it works
The curved upper edge from sheet of paper on the long side of the Lamp foil transferred. Cut the Lamp foil to size to fit the Lanterns in height and circumference (allow for approx. 1 cm projection), remove the protective foil and stick on Straw silk paper . Cut out two holes with a diameter of 4 cm in the middle for the eyes. Cut out circles with a diameter of 5 cm from Silk paper and glue them behind the openings.
Transfer the templates for eyes, beak, feet and Feathersonto solid cardboard and cut them out. Transfer these templates with pencil to Coloured paper and cut them out
Prick small slits in the middle of the lantern bottoms with the scalpel, put the pencils of Tealight holders through them and bend them open. Glue the Lamp foil with tape-Ribbon around the lantern bases
Punch holes in the Lamp foil with the punch pliers left and right and fix the lantern brackets in it .
