Treat yourself to a painting time-out with acrylic markers! With the help of the painting template, you will certainly succeed well in conjuring up your own South Seas world on a stretcher frame. Matching with only little painting effort from simple boxes and cabinets become practical South Seas treasure boxes.
Painting the background
First paint the entire stretcher frame with a background color gradient: approximately the lower half of the stretcher frame in pastel yellow, the upper third with Elegant Night Blue.
Create the transition between these two color areas with gentian blue, turquoise and white by adding a little of the colors to the stretcher and dabbing with a painting sponge until a soft color gradient appears similar to the horizon at sunrise.
Palm trees, boat and beach
Print out the painting template and transfer the outlines to the dried background. Create the image with black liner and marker.
For painting the beach, feel free to use the wide painting tip of the double liner, you will get beautiful 3D effects.
The palm fronds are created by painting loose strokes with the fine tip of the Double Liner.
Finally, work out small shadings with the fine anthracite acrylic marker.

Suitable storage for your "South Sea treasures"
Mix the VBS craft colors ivory and beige to a beautiful sand color. Use it to prime the box or drawers of the mini cabinet. Once the paint has dried, paint minimalist patterns with acrylic markers: waves, dots and stripes.
