1. Preparing the stretcher frame
First you will prime the stretched canvas . To do this, use a paint sponge and apply the primer evenly to the canvas. The primer will allow your subsequent color and texture application to be painted with improved adhesion and an even look.
Allow the stretched canvas to dry completely before continuing with the next step.
Paint the entire surface of the stretcher frame with VBS handicraft paint in antique green.
2. Test the technique
While the stretched canvas is drying, test the modelling of a flower on a sheet of paper Paper. This will give you a feel for how to use the spatula, with the structure paste and help you plan your textured image.
To create a flower: put some structure paste on the underside of your palette knife and press it carefully onto the painting surface. You have just created your first petal. In this way, you will gradually form a three-dimensional flower.
