The drawers of these large cube boxes offer an enormous amount of storage space, the surfaces offer plenty of room for creative design. Here napkin motifs are combined with stencilled notes to form a harmonious ensemble.
The Napkin "Musica Classica" is perfectly suited to recreate this idea.
Here's how it works
Prime the stacking boxes and drawers with a dry Paint sponge antique white primer
After drying, first wipe grey Handicraft paint over the primer with long strokes, then apply another coat of antique white paint until the look of weathered wood is achieved (wiping technique). Here it is important to leave out the fronts of two large drawers. In the next step these are pasted with napkin motifs.
Cut the two large napkin motifs roughly to size and remove the two unprinted layers of paper at from Zuschnitt. Spray the printed paper layer from behind with spray adhesive, place it on the light-coloured drawers and smooth it down (if necessary, carefully peel it off again and place it again). Then fix the Napkin with Napkin varnish , cut back the remaining Paper with a scalpel after drying.
The Stencil place the removable spray adhesive on one of the other drawers and paint well. Apply black Handicraft paint with a dry sponge swab brush, remove Stencil immediately and clean under running water. Place the dried Stencil on the next drawer front again and stencil on the other staves.
Tip: If residues of from spray glue stick to the drawer, they can be easily rubbed off after the paint has dried.
Now tear off individual motifs from Napkin according to your own taste and stick them along the edges of the two individual cubes with Napkin varnish . After drying the napkin varnish, wipe over the edges and surfaces with Ink Pads first, then set stronger accents from the outside to the inside. Finally, completely coat the surfaces of the cubes with Napkin varnish for an even look.
