Instructions No. 3501
Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 2 Hours
Step 1: Lay the basic wreath
Start by arranging the individual bark slices into a circle. If you are unsure how to form a perfect circle, simply print out a stencil or find a round object, such as a plate, around which you can place the slices.
Step 2: Prepare the suspension
Choose one of the bark slices and drill a small hole in it. This will be used later to hang your wreath. Make sure that the hole is large enough to thread a string through, but not so large that it affects the stability of the slice.
Step 3: Create the structure
Now it's time for the second and third layer. Glue two more layers of bark slices staggered on top of the circle you have already laid. This offset ensures a harmonious and even appearance. Important: Allow the glue to harden completely before moving on to the next step.
Step 4: Attach the pampas grass
Cut the pampas grass to the desired length and attach it to the wreath using hot glue.
Step 5: Add the jute ribbon-bow
Cut a piece of from jute ribbon with wire edge and form a stylish bow. To give your bow that certain something, tie a piece of jute cord in the middle. This is then also attached to your wreath with hot glue.
Step 6: Final decoration
Use hot glue to attach moss, cones and scatter decoration to your wreath. These elements give your work a natural and detailed look.
Step 7: Hang and admire
Finally, cut a piece of the cotton cord and pull it through the drilled hole. Knot the ends well so that your wreath hangs securely. Now you're ready to display your rustic wreath in your favorite spot!
