This idea is a good example of how you can create something perfectly colourful with little effort and with the help of stencils. Each of the VBS pennants is 16.5 cm long and 12 cm wide. The stencil used here has letter motifs, approx. 6 cm in size.
Each letter is stencilled as follows:
- Spray the back of the letter stencil with some spray glue.
- Place the stencil on a pennant and press it on.
- Pour some paint into the painting palette and press the stippling brush into the paint.
- Then dab the paint onto the stencil.
- Remove the stencil from the pennant and leave the paint to dry.
- You should clean any paint residue from the stencil immediately after use so that it is ready for the next use.
Stencil the individual pennants in this way until your lettering is finished.
Cut your desired length of ribbon and attach the pennants to it using the clothes pegs.
