Follow our simple step-by-step instructions and create a gift that will delight your mother and that she will enjoy for a long time.
Mother's Day gift - decorating the tea box
Paint your chosen box in your desired base color. Allow everything to dry well and make sure that the hinges do not stick together due to the paint and that the lid can still be moved.
Once the paint on the box is dry, you can decorate it as you wish. For lettering, it is helpful to first sketch it out with a pencil. This way, you can divide up the space well and make any corrections. Once dry, simply erase the pencil marks and add further details by hand.
Mother's Day gift - decorating the mug
Unfortunately, you cannot pre-draw the lettering when decorating the mug. However, you can write out the lettering you want on a Paper and use it as a template. Once you have placed the lettering, add further decorations. Use the box as a guide or create your own design.
Allow the paint to dry well and place the cup in the oven at 160° C for 25 minutes to make it durable. Once the mug has cooled and the box is filled with tea, you can wrap your personalized gift and make your mother happy.
