Festively decorated metal rings

Our step-by-step guide shows you how to create beautiful wall decorations for the Christmas season using simple metal rings and a few accessories. See how easy it is to add a touch of handmade magic to your living space. We have put together various ways for you to create your favorite decorations.

Metal ring with stars
This metal ring consists of a metal ring with Ø 45 cm, an LED metal ring "star" with approx. Ø 37 cm and the metal ring "star" with approx. 25 cm. Place the three parts in front of you in the way you want to arrange them: the metal ring on the outside, the two metal stars on the inside.

Cut two pieces of jute cord about 2 meters long. Double it and tie a so-called "lark's head knot" around the small star. You now have four threads at your disposal. Use these four threads to tie a ribbon, up to the larger star using the spiral knot. Now tie this with a Spiral knot into your strand and knot further, until you reach the outer ring. Tie this into your macramé suspension as well. Knot further and also tie the cable from battery compartment into your knotting work with a knot so that it is integrated into the knotted strand. As soon as you have created a sufficiently long suspension in this way, form a loop from the knotted threads and tie it to your final "lark's head knot".

Christmas floristry
Place two silver fir branches opposite each other so that the lace are facing outwards and tie them together in the middle with wire. In the next step, you can tie Christmas baubles to the fir branches with copper wire as desired. Fix the pine cones to your arrangement with hot glue. Once the look is right, attach everything to the metal rings with wire. Finally, tie a decorative bow to your christmas decoration.

Ribbon decoration

For this decoration, tie four4 metal rings of different sizes together with a knotted strand (lark's head knot), as described for the metal ring star. In our example, we have made three3 spiral knots between each of the individual rings. Then glue a piece of taffeta ribbon crosswise into the smallest metal ring and knot different ribbons into the lower half of your metal rings as desired. You can then use the scissors to cut them into shape.

X-Mas wall decorations with LED candles

First cut a few branches with side cutters from &bdquo;VBS Hanger larch". Then attach these branches to the desired metal rings using enameled copper wire. The christmas balls used here are already attached to a wire. Use this wire to attach them directly to your rings in a decorative way. If you want to use baubles that are not equipped with a binding wire, simply use hot glue to fix them in place.

Insert the LED candles into the holders, attach a hanging ribbon to the eyelet and your metal rings are ready to decorate your wall.
