With this diy idea throwing rings, you can combine the best leisure activities: first crafting and making, then enjoying the fun with friends: The aim is to score as many points as possible throwing rings.
This is how you organise the throwing game:
Make the throwing cross from three 1 m long square wooden strips, each 10 x 10 mm thick. Use the mitre cutting set to cut 1 squared timber strip in half. Glue these two pieces to the 1 metre long wooden strip with wood glue to form a cross. Saw another one with a 90% mitre into 4 equal pieces and glue these into the cross as cross struts.Starting from the centre of the wooden cross, draw markings at regular intervals and drill small holes at these points. The "target round bars" will be fixed into these later.
Prime the wood with white paint, then paint the ends of the round bars and the matching wooden numbers (for later scoring). Fix the sticks in the pre-drilled holes with glue and glue the corresponding numerical values to them.
Depending on the level of difficulty, you can use different sized throwing rings or, as in this case, rings with Ø 15 or Ø 20 cm.
