Christmas crafts with clay pots
Instructions No. 1694Clay pots are not planters only , they are also very suitable for handicrafts. There are endless ideas and possibilities. In our instructions we have put together a few Christmassy ones that are easy to make and look beautiful. How would it be, for example, once to make a nativity scene from clay pots? Or you could create a small village from the small planters - a cute idea!
This is how easy it is to design the crib:
Now cut out small rectangles Felt and shape them into headscarves. Use hot glue to stick them to the heads and Cord wrap a small decorative one around them.
For the Jesus child wrap a small Wooden ball with white Felt.
You can still see the small crib scene with Strawmoss and other decorations. For our star you take 2 mm aluminium wire and form a star and the attachment from it and also glue it with hot glue. A little bit of moss covers the gluing spot and looks decorative.
A fir tree made of clay pots
Now you can decorate the tree. We have put self-adhesive masking tape around the pots and decorated stars using hot glue on the pots. Tip: When using Masking Tape, it is best to stick double-sideAdhesive taped tape underneath. This will make it last longer and will not come off
For the top of the fir tree, put together an acrylic star. We have sprayed the star from the outside with spray glue and scattered glitter over it. Then glue the star with hot glue into the uppermost openingTerracotta pot.
Small beautiful cone fir trees
With something Handicraft paint the cones were given a few accents and small stars were glued on as fir tree tops with hot glue
After that you can glue the cones into the terracotta pots.
A cute village of Terracotta pot-houses
Cut out Textile felt Semicircles off. Glue together the straight sides of the Textile felt overlapping with hot glue. After drying, turn them over so that the adhesive edge is no longer visible. Spread glue on the edge of the pot and place the felt roof on top.
Now the houses can still be decorated as desired. For example, stick moss on the house or roll something Felt and glue it to the roof as a chimney. With some moss on the chimney, it looks like smoke is coming out of the chimney. From a larch branch we have glued a mini door garland.
