Starting school is an exciting event in the life of every child and their parents. It marks the beginning of a new stage in life full of discoveries and learning experiences. What better way to herald this special day than with creative invitation cards in the shape of school cones? Such original cards not only only attract everyone's attention, but also give your invitation a personal and creative touch. In this step-by-step guide, I'll show you how to make impressive school cone invitation cards yourself in no time at all. Whether you make these cards alone or together with your child - it will be an unforgettable experience!

Step 1: Design your school cone template and texts

Start by printing out the school cone template. Carefully cut out the template so that it serves as a stencil for the rest of the process.

You have various creative options for the invitation text Selection:

You can use the template and insert your text using a graphics program and then print it out.
For a handwritten version, use the triangles on the template to enter the text by hand.
Alternatively, write the text in a text program, noting the shape of a triangle that tapers towards the bottom.

Step 2: Transfer the school cone shape and fold

Take the school cone template and transfer it to the selected craft cardboard sheet. Carefully cut out the shape. Be careful and remove all visible pencil marks.

Use a ruler to carefully prepare the fold lines along the markings. The center and the two outer fold lines must be folded in opposite directions so that the school cone can be shaped correctly.

Step 3: Decorate the invitation card

For the cover page, cut out triangles from the checkered craft cardboard sheet . You can either do this using a template or mark the corresponding cut-outs directly on the card. Then glue the triangle onto the front. Fold the text triangles in half and glue them into the school cone according to the fold.

Finally, fold the card together and tie it with a bow at the top. There is also the option of varying the card a little. Instead of 4 sides, you can also work only with three or you can work with two checkered triangles.
